Delta North Traditional Rulers Adopt SDP Candidate, Offers Royal Blessings,

Delta North Traditional Rulers have chosen the Social Democratic Party Governorship Candidate, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON as their preferred candidate for the 2023 Governorship Election.
The traditional rulers under the aegis of Delta North traditional rulers forum, (Anioma) declared their support and prayed for Chief Kenneth Gbagi FNIM, OON, stating that; he is an industrialist whose qualifications to govern Delta State was no match for other contestants in the race.

They accorded him a rousing reception upon his arrival at the Palace of the Asagba of Asaba with his campaign council, on Friday, October 28, 2022 in Asaba, Delta State capital.
Chairman of the Delta North traditional rulers forum, the Asagba of Asaba, Obi (Prof) Chike Edozien reaffirmed Gbagi's qualifications and rightfulness to bring discipline into governance and led the Anioma traditional rulers to offer royal blessings and prayers for him to emerge as Governor of the State.
Speaking on behalf of the royal fathers, the chairman of the Delta North traditional rulers forum reaffirmed publicly that Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi is exceptional when compared to other candidates who have visited the palace.

In his address, the Asagba of Asaba said; "We have had the privilege of hosting many Politicians in this palace, this visit is one of its kind. you are a man of discipline and you will bring that into governance, congratulations".
"The highly revered traditional ruler in his endorsement of Gbagi urged him to create Office of the First Lady immediately he is sworn in as the Governor. "When you get so busy as the state Governor, we can spend time in Our daughter's office. We know you are thinking in the right direction, we wish you well".

The former Minister of State for Education, appreciated the traditional rulers who came in their numbers to welcome him, in addressing them, he (Gbagi) said; "You must, as traditional rulers monitor your voters, you must decide to live above this level, if all of you, traditional rulers say this is what we want for Delta North, that decision will work; if you remain complacent that will affect you all negatively".
Earlier, the director general of Gbagi's Campaign Council, Prof Jiff Mokobia said; "We have ex-rayed all the Governorship candidates and we observed that our youths are jobless, the highest Offers that had been given to them ends up to be mere appointments as political thugs.
"The time has come for Deltans to look at the industrialist: there was Asaba textile mill, where is it now as we speak? Gbagi is a self-made man, an industrialist who will transform Delta State.
"Asaba textile mill will spring back, this is time to tell people how you will do it by what you have done before. This is the first time we are meeting the traditional rulers like this".

Barr. Fred Owhotorofa also noted that; "Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi OON by the grace of God is the incoming Governor of Delta State, we were here some time ago with our presidential candidate Adewale Adebayo.
