Niger Delta Ex-agitators comprising leaders of the various camps in the Third Phase of the Presidential Amnesty Programme drawn from Bayelsa have issued a renewed demand for their inclusion in the leadership training component of the PAP.

The Ex-agitator leaders and their camps include Jeremiah Oweilala of Amabulobou camp Bayelsa State, Omotete Zechariah of Ogbogbene camp Bilabiri Bayelsa, Fun Benson of Eremotie camp Bilabiri Bayelsa, Kingsley Silo of C-lion camp Delta, Master John Musa of Osumagba camp Delta, Joseph Okubopade of One-way camp Delta, Samson Okou of Ezegbetu camp Delta, Aeroplane Edirin of Emegbigidi camp Delta State Victor Fewawreseimone Amadino of Boruku camp Delta, Amos Okosuwei of Brakuro camp and others.

The Ex-Agitators in a fresh letter to the PAP Administrator, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, pleaded profusely with him to consider their appeal.

Copies of the letter which was jointly signed by the Ex-Agitators leaders namely self-styled

General John Musa (Chairman GSM: 0703 470 9561), Ebiye Godbless (Secretary), Samson Okou and Jeremiah Oweilala respectively, were made available to journalists in Warri, Delta State, on Sunday.

While expressing the hope that their voices will finally be acknowledged, thus paving the way for a more inclusive and peaceful Niger Delta, the Ex-Agitators expressed grave concern that despite numerous appeals and written requests to the PAP Administrator, they were yet to receive any response up to date.

"We are appealing for our inclusion in the leadership training which we strongly believe will enable us contribute positively to the socioeconomic development of the Niger Delta and thus contribute to the broader goal of peace and development in the region", the Ex-Agitators sad in the latest letter.

'General' John Musa also bared his mind to newsmen at a press conference organized by the Ex- Agitators over the issue.

He said, "We believe that leadership training is crucial for our members to become effective agents of change in our communities.

"Many of us have the potential to lead initiatives that can drive economic growth and social cohesion, but we need the right training and support to do so."
