Arthur Akpodubakaye Expresses Gratitude After Mother's Funeral Ceremony in Delta (See List)

The immediate past vice chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Arthur Akpodubakaye, appreciates all personalities, guests, friends and family members for their support during the funeral ceremony of his mother,  Mrs. Akapu-Ere Akpodubakaye, Nee-Ekponimi on Thursday, 27th March 2025 in Ogbe-ljoh.

Akpodubakaye who also went to church on Sunday, March 30th, 2025 thank God for the successful and peaceful burial ceremony as he added that his mother lived a glorious life and thanked all who contributed their time and resources for the successful burial ceremony.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Warri, on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 Chief Akpodubakaye who is the Uwangwe of Isaba Kingdom said, "The love and kindness shown to my family during this difficult time have been a source of strength for us. My mother was a beacon of light in our lives, and it is comforting to know that she touched so many others in her lifetime."

The ceremony was marked by emotional tributes, prayers, and a celebration of her life.

During the service, several speakers highlighted Mrs. Akpodubakaye's contributions to the humanity, her nurturing spirit, and her role as a matriarch who instilled values of love, unity, and resilience in her children and grandchildren. The atmosphere was both somber and celebratory, as attendees shared fond memories and stories that illustrated her impact on their lives.

Akpodubakaye said; "We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from everyone. It is a testament to the life my mother lived and the relationships she built," he remarked.

As the Akpodubakaye family begins to heal from their loss, Chief Arthur Akpodubakaye  prayed God's blessings upon all who stood by the family during this trying time, he specifically thanked:
