Leaders of the various ex-agitator camps from the Niger Delta region have appealed to the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Otuaro, to give them "opportunity to learn and grow".

"We are not asking for handouts; we are seeking an opportunity to learn and grow. Many of us have valuable experiences that can be harnessed for the greater good of our communities", the Ex- Agitators stated in their letter of appeal despatched to the PAP Administrator on Wednesday.

The letter which was jointly signed by the Ex-Agitators leaders namely self-styled General John Musa (Chairman 0703 470 9561), Ebiye Godbless (Secretary), Samson Okou and Jeremiah Oweilala, copies of which were sighted by journalists in Warri, Delta State, noted that despite numerous appeals and written requests to the PAP Administrator, they were yet to receive any response.

In their renewed agitation for inclusion in the leadership training programmes under the Presidential Amnesty Programme, the Ex-Agitators stated that "it is time for the PAP to recognize our potential and include us in these vital programmes".

At a press conference held in Warri, the Ex-Agitators, who played significant roles during the Third Phase of the PAP, expressed their concerns lamenting that their voices had not been heard.

"Our voices have not been heard, and we hope that Dr. Otuaro will finally reach out to us", their leader, 'General' Musa told journalists.

He spoke further, "We have made several attempts to engage with the PAP and have consistently sought inclusion in the leadership training programnes. Our voices have not been heard, and we hope that Dr. Otuaro will finally reach out to us. (John Musa 0703 470 9561
