2023: Ubulu-Uku Kingdom Offers Royal Blessings to Gbagi, SDP Grows Strength in Delta North

The Traditional ruler, His Royal Majesty, Obi Chukwuka Noah Akaeze of Ubulu-Uku kingdom has offered royal blessing to the Delta State governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi in his quest to govern the state come 2023.

The SDP candidate received royal blessing durring his reception as a prominet Chief of the Kingdom on Saturday, October 8 2022, at the Obi's Palace, Ubulu-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area, after he was accorded a rousing reception with a mammoth crowd.

The young Delta monarch was represented by the regent, Obi in Council, The palace secretary,  Chief (Barr.) J Obaze, Chief Felix Monye, Chief Emma Nwoefulu and host of others.

The Obi in Council on behalf of the monarchs applauded one of their own, Gbagi for bringing home his Governorship ambition; adding that he (Gbagi) is a highly respected Chief of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom and have come home to identify with his people.

The visit was part of programmes, scheduled in preparation for the 2023 general election campaigns as outlined by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

SDP members were drawn from different parts of Delta North as mammoth crowd went around Obuluku to propagate the party's ideology and their candidates to the people.

Gbagi also joined his SDP families at the meeting ground where party faithfuls, candidates and supporters listened to him while spoking extensively on how to move the State forward.

SDP gained group as a notable Chief of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom, Emma Nwoefulu, received SDP party cards from the state Chairman, Dr. Oke Idawene to propagate the party's ideology to all in Delta North.
