Amnesty Boss Otuaro Tasks Students on Academic Excellence in UK


The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr Dennis Otuaro has charged students under the Federal Government’s Amnesty Programme studying in the United Kingdom to take their studies seriously, so as to achieve academic excellence and become good ambassadors of the Niger Delta region. 

Chief Dennis Otuaro gave the charge during a meeting held with PAP diaspora students currently pursuing their studies in the United Kingdom, August 18, 2024.

The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude and excitement for the Administrator's commitment to their scholarship and welfare. They commended his kind gesture and dedication to their academic success.

Otuaro, while emphasising the importance of academic excellence, urged the students to make Nigeria proud by achieving their full potential and contributing positively to the country's growth and development.

He further admonished them to be peaceful and law-abiding citizens in their foreign environment to avoid creating the wrong impression about the people of Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.

The meeting served as a morale booster for the students, reinforcing the Administrator's support for their educational pursuits, commitment towards making the amnesty programme more robust and encompassing.
