Breaking News; Gun Battle in Delta Community, Read What Happened to Suspected Rubber in Ughelli South

At least one person has been hit by stray bullet as suspected armed rubbers exchanged gunfire with security operatives while trying to escape from Usiefurn Community in Ughelli South Local government area of Delta State.


 Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO DSP Bright Edafe confirmed this incident to that "the suspects hijacked a POS operator, however security operatives escorting an important personality engaged the culprits in a gun-battle that led to the 'the' accident." He also confirmed that some arms were recovered from the suspects and they have been taken into custody.


FocalPoint Reports gathered that the two suspects in a Toyota Corolla ran to Ekrokpe Community, where as their car was shot,  the driver lost control and crashed into a school fence, the culprits were caught in Egbo- Ekrokpe road.


The incident took place within the hours of 8:15pm, today Monday, February, 2021. FocalPoint Reports rushed to the scene and observed that a Toyota Corolla had already crashed into a school fence with blood stains inside.

An eye withnes who is a member of the community, Mr. Moses Omoefe, 
told our reporter that he was in his car when an hilux passed by and there was an exchange of gunshots between some security operatives in the hilux and the two boys including a driver in a Toyota Corolla car. 

 The vice president of Ekrokpe Community said that the two boys were caught trying to escape. However, they have been taken to Otujeremi police station.

He also said that some female items were found in the car alongside some particulars bearing EFE Ejiro Rose.
