Delta 2023: At Last Okowa Dismisses Reports on Endorsement  of Preferred Aspirant, Speaks on Ibori's Political Family

There seems to be another twist to the political arrangements of the governor of Delta State, Sen Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, whose support has been perceived to be with the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

The Governor has however, dismissed rumors of endorsement of his preferred aspirant at the 2022 Quarterly Media Interaction with Members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Asaba, on Thursday, May 5th.

Governor Okowa disclosed that he never endorsed any preferred aspirant.

He also disclosed that Chief James Ibori's Political Family and the People’s Democratic Party PDP are still intact.

The governor also refuted insinuations that he hijacked PDP delegates list, stressing that he had been falsely accused.

According to him, “Ibori political family is still intact, the PDP family is still intact"

“I didn’t endorsed any aspirant.
I did not hijacked PDP Delegate list and there was no attempt to hijack any delegates list.” he assured Deltans.
