Edo State: NDYC Congratulates Okpebholo on Successful Inauguration, Seeks Opportunities for Niger Delta Youths

The Niger Delta Youth Council NDYC has congratulated Senator Monday Okpebholo on his successful swearing-in as the 6th democratically elected governor of Edo State, urging him to implement his promised 
five-point agenda to improve the living standards of the people of the State. 

In a congratulatory message issued by the President of the council, Comrade (Chief) Bene Mamamu and his secretary, Comrade Shedrach Onitsha, urged Governor Okpebholo to set an example of Development by contributing to good governance in Niger Delta while promoting true democracy and all-inclusive governance in the state.

The president of the council while urging him to extend the hand of fellowship to the immediate past government and opposition Said, 
"The Niger Delta Youth Council will collaborate with Governor Monday Okpebholo's administration and firmly support him in his quest to prioritize security, infrastructure, healthcare, food sufficiency, and education for the good people of Edo state".

While urging him to key into the struggle for the upliftment of the Niger Delta region, Bene Mamamu appealed to Governor Okpebholo to include more youths in his cabinet adding that NDYC always Seeks opportunities for Youths' inclusiveness in governance.

“It is our sincere prayer that your administrator will make Edo and Niger Delta youths proud by discharging the functions of your office for the collective interest of the Edo people. Edo State is very strategic to the Niger Delta due to its potential to attract investors".
