IPF Celebrates Dr. Otuaro On Birth Anniversary, Describes Him as Visionary, Innovative Leader

The Ijaw Publishers’ Forum (IPF) has felicitated the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, High Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro, Ph.D., on the occasion of his birthday.

In a congratulatory message signed by its President, Comrade Ozobo Austin and Secretary, Tare Magbei, the Forum described Otuaro as a “visionary and innovative leader.”

The Forum thanked God for the life of the PAP boss, stating that his stewardship had brought stability to the region.

“We give thanks to Almighty God for gifting the Niger Delta region with a visionary, purposeful and compassionate leader whose stewardship of the Presidential Amnesty Programme has continued to deepen peace, foster unity and create sustainable opportunities for the people of the region,” the statement said.

The IPF noted that since assuming office, Dr. Otuaro has prioritized human capital development in the Niger Delta.

The group said, “Since assuming leadership of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr. Otuaro has continued to contribute to the implementation of programmes aimed at human capital development, education, skills acquisition, entrepreneurship and the empowerment of beneficiaries.”

It added that the interventions are key to building a more productive Niger Delta, stressing that his scholarship initiatives have renewed hope for youths.

“Your commitment to human-capacity development through foreign and home-based scholarship initiatives has brought renewed hope to countless Niger Delta youths. By investing in education and skills development, you are helping to build a generation equipped to contribute meaningfully to the growth, stability and prosperity of the region and the nation at large,” the Forum stated.

The IPF also appreciated Otuaro for his support for the media.

“Your encouragement and recognition of the role of the media in promoting peace, development and responsible public engagement remain deeply valued,” it said.

The Forum prayed for long life and more impactful service for the PAP Administrator.
