LIVE UPDATE: Mulade Sheriff Arrives Oporoza, Pays Homecoming Visit to Gbaramatu Monarch

OPOROZA, Delta State — LIVE: Political activities are currently unfolding in Oporoza, headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, as the National Democratic Party (NDP) candidate for the House of Representatives, Warri Federal Constituency, Chief Comrade Mulade B. Sheriff, PhD, arrives the kingdom for a homecoming courtesy visit to the Pere of Ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom.

Mulade, the Ibe-Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, is currently being received by supporters, community stakeholders, political associates and well-wishers who turned out in large numbers to accompany him to the palace of His Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba, the Pere of Ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom.

The NDP candidate made a grand entry into Oporoza earlier today, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, amid a rousing reception from supporters and residents gathered along the route to the Pere's Palace.

The atmosphere remains lively as the homecoming courtesy visit continues, with political supporters and community members awaiting the palace engagement.

Mulade, a son of Gbaramatu Kingdom and Niger Delta environmentalist, investor and politician, is visiting the traditional institution as part of his homecoming initiative ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election for Warri Federal Constituency.
