The Coordinator of the Niger Delta Civil Society Forum, Comrade Ezekiel Kagbala, has congratulated Justice Irene Boeye Ukuli on her successful swearing-in as a Judge of the High Court of Delta State, describing the development as a great achievement for the judiciary and the administration of justice in the state.

In a congratulatory message issued on Saturday, Kagbala said the elevation of Justice Ukuli, alongside other newly sworn-in judges, was a reflection of merit, diligence and commitment to the rule of law, noting that her appointment would further strengthen public confidence in the justice system.

He also commended the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for adhering strictly to laid-down constitutional procedures in the appointment of the judges, as provided under Section 271(2) and Section 281(2) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).

According to Kagbala, the transparent process that led to the appointment of qualified legal practitioners such as Justice Irene Boeye Ukuli underscores the governor’s commitment to building a strong, credible and independent judiciary in Delta State.
