Mulade Sheriff Pledges Effective, Productive Representation for Warri Federal Constituency

A renowned Delta State-born peace and development advocate, Sheriff Mulade, has formally picked up the House of Representatives Expression of Interest Form for Warri Federal Constituency under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Mulade, a widely respected Niger Delta environmental rights activist and community development advocate, expressed confidence in securing victory in the February 2027 elections as scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Speaking shortly after obtaining the form, the development crusader thanked God for the opportunity and dedicated his political aspiration to humanity and the service of the people.

“I am very happy today for making this possible. I dedicate this form to God Almighty and humanity,” he stated.

The Ibe-Sorimowei of the ancient oil-rich Gbaramatu Kingdom also expressed profound appreciation to the national leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, particularly former Bayelsa State Governor, Henry Seriake Dickson, for giving him the platform and opportunity to contest and serve the people.

Mulade stressed that his aspiration is driven by the desire to provide purposeful, productive and inclusive representation for the people of Warri Federal Constituency, comprising the Itsekiri, Ijaw and Urhobo ethnic nationalities.

According to him, “I am the right man for the job at this moment. I represent peace, unity, development and inclusive people-oriented representation devoid of ethnic sentiment and segregation.”

He pledged to promote peaceful coexistence, accelerated development and mutual understanding among the diverse ethnic groups within the constituency.

The renowned peace advocate further assured constituents that he would work closely with traditional rulers, political leaders, stakeholders and youths across the constituency to strengthen peace and attract meaningful development to the Warri axis.

“I promise to work closely with the revered traditional rulers, stakeholders and political leaders of the constituency to ensure sustainable peace that will attract the desired attention of development to the ancient Warri city and environs, the commercial nerve of Delta State and Nigeria at large, through inclusive advocacy, constructive engagement and dialogue for progress,” he emphasized.

Political observers in the Niger Delta believe Mulade’s entrance into the race may further reshape political conversations within Warri Federal Constituency, especially given his longstanding reputation as a peace builder, environmental rights campaigner and grassroots mobilizer across the region.
