Nigeria Diminishes Into Hopelneseness, Upsurge of Youths Seeking Greener Pastures Abroad

FocalPoint Editorial
By Ezekiel Kagbala
Nigerian youths are leaving the shores of their country in droves as unemployment, insecurity and bad governance diminishes Nigeria into a nation of hopelessness and faliure.
Even president Muhammadu Buhari himself acknowledged this during his visit to Brussels, Belgium, last week, for the sixth EU-African union conference that there is mass migration of Nigerian youths to European countries.
Insecurity and unemployment skyrocket under the president who lied to hungry Nigerians that he would be the messiah of the country. His failure was woeful, infectious all he offered Nigerians was inflammation, hardship, food shortage, insecurity and ruthless killings.
No form of security is working in this country, Security of lives and property is also not guaranteed, if everybody is killed, what become of Nigeria? Maybe Nigeria will become a tourism centre where people visit to see the cemeteries.
Nigerians learned their lessons in a hard way, governance is too serious business to left in the hand of mediocres.
Nigerians are leaving the country to Europe because nothing is working here in Nigeria, things seemed to be moving from bad to worse as the day passes by, all is not well with this country.
Young people in this country wants to leave the country because there is so much misery, so much economic frustration poverty and wickedness of most politicians.
If nothing is done, post_2023 will see an exodus of both skilled and unskilled Nigeria moving to other less-endowed African countries, compared to what happened to Ghana in the 1970s before the Ghana must go mantra. We must not allow colonial grandfathers to hostage this country.
The only consolation is that, between endless hope and hopeless end we have the ability to elect new leaders come 2023 rubber stamp leader must be repudiated.
lets keep our undying spirit of advocacy alive, let us see hope in the horizon that our collective voice and actions could make alot of difference. Let us rise to challenge bad governance using a non violence and less confrontational approach.
