Oml-42 Host Communities Youth Forum Congratulates Oborevwori as Delta Governor Elect, Urges APC, Omo-Agege to Accept Defeat


Oml-42 Host Communities in Delta State has congratulated the People’s Democratic Party Governorship Candidate in Delta State, RT Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory in Saturday’s governorship election in Delta State.

They Called on the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege of the All Progressive Congress, APC to accept defeat and join hand with Sheriff Oborevwori to move the state forward. 

In a statement by the leader of the forum, a renowned Human Rights Activist, Comrade Mamamu Bakkawei, from the Oil rich Odidi community, Warri South-West LGA of the state, described the election of Sheriff as a victory for the people of Delta State.

Recall that the forum which is made up of youth leaders across Odidi 1, Odidi 2, Egwa 1, Egwa 2, Jonecreek Communities, Batan, and Ajuju in Warri South-West Local Government Area, decisively endorsed RT Hon Sheriff Oborevwori few days to the election, on Tuesday, March 7th 2023, in a meeting that was held at Osubi, Okpe Local Government Area, Delta State.

He commended the host Communities and Deltans for voting massively for Oborevwori noting that all will enjoy the administration of Oborevwori.

He said; "We gladly celebrate the emergence of Oborevwori as Delta State Governor elect, his victory was well deserved, hopefully, we look forward to a stronger Delta State by working with Oborevwori".
