His words :  "Steer clear of any acts that may lead you into causing violence to please any politician in Ondo State.

"Politicians who want to recruit any Ondo youth  as political thugs for election do not mean well for Ondo youths. I enjoin Niger Deltans, Ondo youths in particular to shun being recruited as political thugs by desperate politicians.

"NDYC Will not support any Youth recruited by politicians to format violence and to intimidate defenseless voters during the November 16, 2024 election in Ondo State and, as such, will not hesitate to report anyone doing such.

" The Council also deem it fit to urge the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to collaborate with reputable bodies as well as security operatives and NDYC to put measures in place to ensure a seamless and peaceful electoral process".

"While urging all political parties and their candidates to prioritize peace we also say that political interest should not compromise peace and constitute a violent crime, which the law frowns at."

" We also  call  on the youths to resist being used as instruments of political violence. We advise  them to resist being used as thugs.  They should  remember that all actions carry consequences and as such, commitment to preserve law and order throughout the election period is sacrosanct in the interest of Ondo State and the Niger Delta region.

" We also appeal to security agencies to  be highly  professional  and impartial and also provide the needed security throughout the election.".
