SDP on Track to Reclaim Gbagi's Mandate in Delta...Oshilim

Delta State Deputy governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP in the March 18 2023 governorship election, Chief Mrs. Ishioma Rosemary Oshilim has affirmed that SDP is on track to and fully ready to support the party's governorship candidate, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi to reclaim his mandate at the Tribunal.

She made this known during the inauguration of the party's newly constituted 12 persons caretaker committee on Saturday 6th, May 2023, at the party's Delta Central Secretariat along Warri-Sapele Road, Delta State.

Oshilim hinted that the successful inauguration of the new leadership was evidence that the party and Gbagi are on the right track to victory at the Tribunal, a vote of confidence was also passed on Chief Gbagi immediately after the inauguration. 

Oshilim, running mate on the joint ticket with Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, urged Esther Ikule's led executives to be steadfast and support the party to reclaim its mandate at the Tribunal.

She urged them to be committed to the party's interest in building Delta State that will be beneficial to all.

Oshilim reiterated that there was needed to flush out those seeking to jeopardize what the party has worked hard to achieve.

According to her, "Our party will come out of the present Tribunal victorious, stronger and more united to provide governance for all in the State".

Oshilim joined the Inaugurated committee members to pass a vote of confidence on her boss, Gbagi, and appreciate all who are supporting the party, especially in the pursuit of the Governorship mandate at the Election Tribunal.

The committee however, stated that "At no time did the SDP executive in Delta State, before it was dissolved by the NWC on 2nd May 2023 met, discussed and agreed to write a letter dissociating the SDP in Delta from the election petition filed by Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi".
