SDP'll Take Over Ughelli South in 2027, says Temienor Oghenekevwe
The candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Ughelli South Constituency of the Delta State House of Assembly in the 2023 general elections, Prince Temienor Oghenekevwe, has assured Party faithful that the Social Democratic Party SDP is well positioned to win the State's House of Assembly, and other positions come 2027.
Temienor Oghenekevwe made this known while hosting SDP ward leaders led by the Chairman of all Chairmen, Mr. Felix Wonloghor, in his country home, Eyara, Ugheli South Local government area Delta State, on Saturday.
Earlier, the ward leaders had assured him of their support and endorsement within the party, should he declare to run again in 2027 for the state House of Assembly Seat to represent the Ughelli South Constituency.
Temienor appreciated the visit and the confidence reposed on him by the Chairman of Jeremi Ward 4 Chairman, Unity Biji, Olomu ward, Mr. Everen Onoroiode, and the chairman of all Chairmen.
Temienor assured them that; "SDP will take over the government in 2027; "We are ready to admit new members and expand, we have 244 units and since 1999, Ughelli South has been delivering their votes for the PDP, yet the dividend of democracy is not commensurate with what the people have been giving PDP.
"Our primary health centers are still not functional; Job opportunities are not even accessible to youths who today have been reduced to motor-park touts; we must take a bold and productive step forward and prepare well and early".
According to the Chairman of all Chairmen, Mr. Felix Wonloghor, "We are ready to build on previous programs, and we are glad that Temienor Oghenekevwe is on the ground and will hold Ugheli South firmly for SDP come 2027.
.Jeremi Ward 4 Chairman, Unity Biji, in appreciation to Temienor, said, "Thank you for all your hard work for the party. It is good to prepare early for the political race, and SDP will surely emerge stronger and bigger as the Party will admit only serious-minded persons.
The leader of Olomu ward in SDP, Mr. Everen Onoroiode, also added, "The party loves you, Jeremi, Ewu. Olomu wards are solidly behind you. 2027 will be another start for SDP in Ughell South.
