The National Coordinator CEPEJ, Comrade Sheriff Mulade in collaboration with other Civil Society Organizations and Environmental Sanitation agencies participated in the awareness and cleanup exercise from Eneheren Junction to Hausa quarters/ Igbudu market to enable traders imbibe the culture of cleanliness.

During a press briefing Mulade said that, "All stakeholders including agencies of government as well as Federal Ministry of Environment should create awareness on the dangers of indiscriminate disposal of wastes and need to ensure clean environment"

"We must take action to protect our environment so that it does not fight back, we don't have another earth".

During the exercise, it was observed that when bins get full of dirts, people would drop the dirts on the roadside, they begin to overflow on the roads for days, causing flies and littering the environment.
