Young Farmer Launches Out to Contest House of Assembly Seat Under SDP in Delta

A young candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, who hails from Eyara Community, Ughieven Kingdom, Ughelli South LGA, Delta State, Temienor Oghenekevwe has projected his pre-conceived political aspirations to contest the Ughelli South Constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly come 2023.
The SDP aspirant, during a declaration of his intention to transform his constituency, on Tuesday, July 19 2022 in Ughelli said; that if elected in 2023, he would promote legislation for food security by engaging the population of teeming youth in his constituency back to the farm with more emphasis on commercial ization rather than just subsistence farming.

Temienor further promised to train grassroots farmers in Ughelli South on modernized farming techniques as he pledged to provide them with modern equipment including other initiated measures aimed at making the constituency not just a hub of commercial food production but means of job creation.
The vibrant young leader, who mentioned that his driving force is no other than to serve his people by exploiting his membership at the Delta State House of Assembly, further assured Ughelli South constituents that he would address their basic needs by improving on health care facilities, Food production, and supply of electricity to make life better for the people, stated that; "I will strategically plan and sponsor a Bill that will prioritize healthcare, Electricity, and commercial food production for the constituency to be economically vibrant".
"To this, l pledge an oath of allegiance to convince my people beyond doubt that l have the capacity to meet their yearnings not only by promoting existing protocols but by introducing viable structures that will accelerate development in my constituency".
According to him, his political goals to redefine democracy as basically a concept of quality representation nessitated by the populace will substantially revealed his unmatched zeal to take his people to greater heights come 2023.
"Like l have earlier mentioned, representing Ughelli South without impacting lives positively will mean nothing, hence, I want to give everyone a sense of economic opportunity and results of improvements in people’s life".
"That is why l will focus more on empowerment hat will go beyond just handling out food to the needy but also helping Communities in Ughelli South develop their agricultural business in order to improve crop yields and also help farmers get their products to market".
"Hopefully, by this time next year, I will be a political office holder, representing my constituency and l further make this known, that, no community under Ughelli South will be without electricity. Our constituency project will improve the stability of electricity supply to the communities".
As a grassroots man, I understand that access to healthcare services is critical to good health, yet our rural residents face a variety of access barriers, If elected I will ensure that one of my legacies as a constituency will be to ensure that our primary care is fully functional for all to access.
I will gladly say that my three-point agenda if elected as a law maker is to focus on food production, electricity for all communities in Ughelli South and healthcare by ensuring the functionality of all our health centers.
