102-Year-Old Woman Declares Interest to Contest 2023 Presidential Race in Nigeria

It seemed like a joke  as 102-year-old woman, High Chief Iyom Josephine Ezeanyaeche,  indicates interest to succeed President Buhari in 2023.

 The centenarian said she is ready to lead the nation if the younger generations are not showing interest.

 Chief Iyom Josephine Ezeanyaeche, 102, also known as Living Legend and Mama Africa, made known her intention to contest for the president ahead of the 2023 general elections. 

Mrs Ezeanyaeche who is an indigene of Agwata local government area of Anambra state spoke of her intention when she visited the management team of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) in the company of the members of the Voice for Senior Citizens of Nigeria, a humanitarian organization, she founded. 

The centenarian who spoke through the president of the association, Dr Caro Nwosu, said she is ready to contest for the position of the president of the most populous country in Africa.
