1st Coronation Anniversary: Isaba Monarch Makes Peace Declaration With Neighbouring Communities in Delta

The traditional ruler of Isaba Kingdom in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, HRM Ogbobere Isoun Vl has declared that Isaba Kingdom is peaceful with all its neighbors in the state. According to him, his reign has brought peace to the kingdom, since his ascension on the throne.
The monarch made this assertion in his speech at the grand finale of activities marking his 1st coronation anniversary on May 24, 2024, at Isaba town, the headquarters of the kingdom.
Held at Pere-ana, Isaba-town.
The occasion was graced by top Government functionaries, Ijaw traditional rulers, politicians from and outside Delta State, captains of industries, and a host of others. It featured, among others, the conferment of honorary chieftaincy titles on some personalities who had impacted positively on Isaba kingdom.
The highly elated monarch in his address said, "Since my enthronement, there has been relative peace, stability, a greater sense of belonging, development, and unity amongst our people.
"We are peace-loving people thus the kingdom is also at peace with its neighboring kingdoms".
Speaking further, the monarch commended the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, his Deputy, Monday Onyeme, and the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwo, for their developmental strides in the State.
In the same vein, he applauded the Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, Senator Joel Onowakpor, and all the royal fathers for their support for the Isaba kingdom.
He then called on the people of the Kingdom to continue to partner with the government at all levels to attract socio-economic development to the Kingdom.
"My people of Isaba Kingdom, my message to you today is one of hope, encouragement, and challenge to all to use your God-given endowments to attract development to the kingdom. "We must cooperate with government at all levels, interventionist agencies as well as well-meaning corporate organizations and individuals to attract development to the kingdom. As the kingdom develops, we will all be proud and happier for it".
Earlier, HRM Ogbobere Isoun VI, had made a grand entry into the highly decorated venue, accompanied by the Chairman of Delta Ijaw Traditional Rulers Forum, His Royal Majesty, Elder (Captain) Timiyan (JP), Agbonu Torububor 1, the Paramount Ruler of Ogulagha Kingdom, the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II (Aketekpe, Agadagba; Pere of Akugbene Kingdom in the Bomadi Local Government Area, HRM Stanley Perediegha Luke -Kalanama VIII, Royal Majesty, Pere of Ogbolubiri-Mein Kingdom, HRM Johnbull Polokowei, Apiarogun, Ongolo 1; the paramount ruler of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Pere Couple Mackson Oromoni, Monbene III; the Amakosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, among others.
The Speaker of the state House of Assembly Hon. Emomotimi Guwor was represented by the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Akpowowo Arthur was accompanied by other lawmakers in the state.
Guwor congratulated the monarch and wished him a happy birthday as the coronation Anniversary coincided with the monarch's birthday.
