DELTA 2023: Ijaw Risk 2031, Handover to us after your Tenure, Isoko Begs Gbagi

Delta South have Misused Their Turn.Isoko people have strongly stated that Ijaws agitation for 2023 Delta State Governorship is not feasible as running against the policy of power rotation of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) among the three senatorial districts in the state could jeopardize their chances of Producing the State governor come 2031.
This was made known by the Party's Chairman of Isoko North, Local government area, Prince Godwin Ogorugba alongside his Ward executives and statutory Delegates on Friday, March 4th, 2022 at Otor-Igho, Isoko North Local Government Area, during consultative visits by the frontline Governorship Aspirant Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi.
They stated that the zoning arrangement is working and Delta South has misused their turn under Governor Uduaghan of Delta South that is made up of Ijaws, Isoko, and Itsekiri (3i).
Isoko people also used the opportunity to indicate interest in the 2031 Governorship position, stating that Isoko and the Urhobo's of Delta central are one. They appealed to Gbagi to hand over power to them in 2031 after his tenure as Governor of Delta State.
The PDP Chairman, referred to Gbagi as Excellency, stating that they have interacted with DC-23 and they have congratulated him for crossing the first huddle.
Pointing that Okowa took up from where Former Governor James Ibori stopped, he stated that "We have said it countless times, you Must know what you are going there to do.
"Our turn as Delta South was not well utilized, Wike cannot sit down in Rivers State and allow shell and all the companies to pull out of the state.
"We are now starting afresh, if something is working why don't we continue in that pattern, because in as much as Delta State, we have more than 15 to twenty ethnic groups, we have gotten it well from Delta central and North, the leaders should sit down.
"We Isoko believe that when it comes to our turn, we will know, please remember us, we are not doubting your capacity, after your tenure please handover to Isoko in 2031".
