Delta 2023: Oml-42 Host Communities Youth Forum Endorses Sheriff Oborevwori, Mobilise Support 

A Few days before the 2023 general elections, the Oml42 Host Communities youth forum endorsed Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as their preferred gubernatorial candidate for the governorship election in Delta state.

The forum which was made up of youth leaders across Odidi 1, Odidi 2, Egwa 1, Egwa 2, Jonecreek Communities, Batan, and Ajuju in Warri South-West Local Government Area made the endorsement on Tuesday, March 7th 2023, in a meeting held at Osubi, Okpe Local Government Area, Delta State.

The forum was led by a renowned Human rights Activist, Comrade Mamamu Bakkawei, from the Oil rich Odidi community, Warri South-West LGA of the state.

Speaking during the endorsement ceremony, the forum Chairman, Mamamu Bakkawei, Said, "We are now moving to our various communities to work hard with our structures in all polling units and wards to ensure victory for Sheriff Oborevwori at the polls come 11th march 2023".

The endorsement was signed by;
Comr. Kingsley Ekponimi, Mamamu bakkawei, Zikorebah Izonfade, Ebimobowei Dio, Tompson Fredrich,  Solomon Poke Ipe Francis, Alex Gbamido, John T. Odidi, T. M Okokoyo, Fredrick Sibi.

Mamamu Bakkawei disclosed that they choose to make public their endorsement for stakeholders to know their position to back Oborevwori.

He directs their teeming Youths to activate members across every nookoks and cranny of Warri South-West to go to their polling units and deliver for Sheriff Oborevwori accordingly. 

They further resolved to vote for  candidates of the PDP in the 2023 governorship and house of Assembly elections, and that there was no going back in their show of love

Responding, Oborevwori, appreciated the endorsement and thanked the host communities youth forum for coming to endorse him, stating that all stakeholders are saddled with a common goal of working towards the good of Delta State.
