Delta 2023: Read Why Ughelli North Leaders Endorse Gbagi for Governor

Community leaders in Ughelli North Local Government area, ably led by Augustine Okirihieri and his executives during the weekend, endorsed the Delta State Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, OON.

Augustine Okirihieri extolled Gbagi's investment and job creation prowess during a consultative visit on Saturday, December 10th in Otor-Iwhreko community Ughelli North Local Government area of Delta State.

Speaking during the reception for Gbagi, a leading industrialist and former minister of education, the Chairman of SDP, Ughelli North, Hon Tega Nikoro posited that Gbagi is a strategic investor within and outside Delta State adding that he remains the hope of Deltans.

Tega Nikoro added that "From the regime of former Governor James  Ibori till that of Okowa, Ughelli remains under-developed, making it imperative for Urhobo Nation to support Gbagi for Governor come 2023.

The community Chairman, Augustine Okirihieri assured that Ughelli north will deliver their votes for Gbagi, he said " We will work for you in the forthcoming election".

Earlier, Gbagi had revealed that "There is a poported plan to destroy Urhobo Nation that has produced prominent Nigerians whose contribution has concretized the structure of Nigeria our country."

Gbagi was treated to a rousing reception by elders, youths, women  of the community amongst whom are Mr. Ojero Samuel, Comrade Paul Ojokor, Engr. David Omotor, Comrade Imonena Akpodie JP, Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers, Ughelli Branch, Comrade Emmanuel O Akpodiete JP, Vice Oghurie, Iwreko community, Comrade Ovigwe Egogor Pro Uvwie-Iwhreko community.
