Delta Decide 2023: Stooge in PDP, Pagan in APC, Industrialist in SDP, The Two Big Wrongs to Avoid

By Ezekiel Kagbala
As we know, two Big wrongs will never make a right. But first, let us examine the facts. A few days ago, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta state said that "the party was out to right all the wrongs that were done to Nigerians by the All Progressives Congress, APC".
Referring to the Delta State governorship candidate of the APC, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, Governor Okowa the 'borrowing master' said; “The APC in Delta state has nothing good than to go to Abuja and steal mace. We don’t want a proud governor who doesn’t want to respect people". By implication, should a thief be allowed to govern Delta, the finger of God?
A higher authority, the number one man in Delta state has called the APC governorship candidate a 'Thief' take note that politicians are truthful whenever they want to expose their opponents. If Agege is a thief then how would you describe PDP? The PDP which as the main big wrong is aware that APC is the other wrong perhaps, a deadly one from the national level.
Delta state deserves to have a liberator, that is different from the two big wrongs, putting into consideration that an idol worshiper would be disgusting to Deltans.
As regards the APC candidate, an opinion revealed that "Omo-Agege is a pagan a chief priest of “Igbe”, a well-known marine spirit in Delta State.
According to the opinion in the daily watch, "everyone in Delta State who truly knows his or her political onions already and fully knows him Agege to be a core “Igbe” man who, as the first son of his father, took over from him and, in fact, became chief priest of the “Igbe” cult at Orhomuru-Orogun upon his father’s demise! Absolutely everyone in Orogun and Ughelli knows Ovie Omo-Agege to have taken up the mantle as a chief priest after his father died.
The Omo-Ageges regularly go to their village to worship their father’s “Igbe”. Understandably, there is freedom of worship in this country and Delta State is not exempted.
However, a public figure who is at present, the Deputy Senate President and currently running for the Governorship of Delta State, should own up to his true religious affiliation like Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi whose Christian faith is celebrated publicly by the body of Christ.
As for the PDP candidate, Deltans
Feels that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is trying to do a third term by imposing his stooge on Deltans. Delta is a first-class state and as such, cannot reduce its position.
Out of the three different Governors that have governed Delta since its creation till date, non of them could be referred to as illiterate, stooge, or incompetent. Delta would depreciate so badly if handed over to an incompetent fellow, a stooge to represent the interest of one greedy, crafty man
Ibori was competent and was never a stooge, Uduaghan was competent and was never a stooge, and Okowa was competent and not a stooge. Then why will Okowa think he can hand over a whole Delta State to a stooge, an inexperienced and incompetent fellow?
Deltans must be wise because a vote for Sherrif Oborevwori is 3rd term for Okowa. A vote for Sherrif Oborevwori is for MORE Loans to put the state in continuous debt.
Recently, archbishop Odutemu, who is the Bishop of Ughelli Diocese, during Prayer Convocation and Silver Jubilee, took up a jar of oil and called on Olorogu. Barr. Kenneth Gbagi then poured the anointing oil on him with a charge to take over the government and bring the much-needed development.
Chief Gbagi who is the Gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), was declared as the right man to succeed Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in 2023.
Deltans should be confident that Gbagi would transform the state into Nigeria’s industrial hub with positive implications for wealth creation.
