Delta LG Polls: PDP Stalwart, Akeinfa Seeks Audience With Gov. Obovrevwori Over Party’s Unity in Burutu

AHEAD of the 2024 Local government chairmanship election in Delta State, a stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Burutu Local Government area, Chief Frank Akiefa has sought the attention of Governor Sheriff Oborevworion to address issues of  party’s cohesion, unity and reconciliation as it boders on consensus canditateship. 

Frank Akeinfa stated this on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 in a reaction to the crisis rocking the PDP over the adoption of consensus candidates in the forthcoming Local Government election in the state. according to him, "I got some of the needed explanation at the PDP Delta South Leaders and Stakeholders meeting held at the residence of  former Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan.

He commending and passed a vote of confidence on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and former Governor of the state, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan to the prompt approach to reconcile all aggrieved members of the party.

"I appreciate our governor for being prompt and proactive in dousing tension of aggrieved individuals of the party, I appealed to my teeming supporters and other stakeholder to support the current administration of Government Oborevwori as his push the M.O.R.E agenda to benefit all Deltans".

I am seeking a audience with our governor, to discuss critical issues affecting Burutu politics which the governor need to address urgently. As PDP is concerned in Burutu, key stakeholder are forces to be reckon with”.
