Delta2023: Big Event for PDP in Burutu, Aspirants Declare For Reps, House of Assembly in Delta

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), leaders and stakeholders on Friday, witnessed the official declaration of aspirants for the House of Representative, Burutu Federal Constituency and Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu North and South Constituency.

During a stakeholders meeting in Burutu town, no fewer than three aspirants declared their interest to vie for the House of Representatives and the State House of Assembly tickets ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Prominent among aspirants for the House of Representatives, Burutu Federal Constituency are; Hon. Julius Pondi, two-term Rep. member who is running for the third term in office.

Rt. Hon. Frank Enekorogha, former Party Chairman Burutu and Dcn. Arede Edeinmene. They declared their interest before the party and stakeholders as they all promised effective representation.

Prominent among aspirants for the State House of Assembly, Burutu North constituency was, Hon. Peter Asupa Forteta, Daniel Young, Timi Akuna, and five aspirants from Burutu South Constituency.

Some stakeholders at the meeting were PDP Chairman Delta South, Senatorial District, Chief Hon. Julius Takeme, The Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Delta State, Prince Emmanuel Amgbaduba, Chairman Burutu Local Government Area,  Godknows Angele, PDP Chairman, Burutu LGA, Ebike Oromoni, Ward charmen, and a host of others.
