Dignitaries, Agediga, Bebenimibo, CDHR Chairman attend service of Songs for Late Activist, Ossai in Delta

The funeral ceremony of 42-year-old human rights activist, Comrade (DCN) Ogaga Darlington Ossai on Thursday, began with a service of songs held at Ekete inland, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

(Elder) A. P. Edariese, President of the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation (EBF) Ambassador Ernest Bebenimibo was among the top dignitaries who attended the Service of songs.
Till his death on Thursday, December 7th, 2023, Late Ogaga Ossai was the Secretary of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, CDHR, in Delta State. He was also a co-founder of the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation and a dedicated human rights activist.

The Service was held at the deceased compound in Ekete Inland, Udu local government Area of the state on Thursday, December 14, 2023, and was graced by leading members of civil society groups, Church members, acquaintances, and family members.
As announced by the family, his burial ceremony shall be held in Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area on Saturday 16th, December 2023.
