Gbagi's Death: Monarch, Traditional Council, Clergy Pays Condolence Visit to Family in Oginibo


The traditional ruler of Ughievwen Kingdom, Ughelli South Local Government Area, HRM Matthew Ediri Egbi, and his traditional council of chiefs paid a condolence visit on Tuesday to the family of the late former Minister of Education (State), Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi,
who passed on to Glory on the 4th of May 4, 2024.

The monarch and the President of Christ Missionaries Crusaders Church Inc., His Grace, Archbishop God-Do-Well Avwomakpa, and a host of prominent personalities paid their condolences at his Oginibo residence in Ughelli South LGA.

The monarch reflected on the remarkable accomplishments of the late Gbagi, a Criminologist, entrepreneur, and lawyer, who had served as the Chairman of the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria and later as the Minister of Education (State) during the tenure of President Goodluck Jonathan.

Expressing heartfelt condolences, the monarch states that Gbagi's earthly sojourn, both in private and public spheres, was profoundly impactful, leaving an indelible mark on humanity. He counsels the grieving family to embrace the inevitability of death, urging them to cherish the enduring legacy of the departed.

According to him; "It is with a deep sadness and heavy heart that we extend our sincere condolences to you, on behalf of the Ughievwen Kingdom, I wish to express our profound sympathy to you and your loved ones as you mourn the loss of your beloved father, husband, brother Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi.
