Gere Consulting Associates Concludes UK International Workshop, Unveils Global Training Expansion

Gere Consulting Associates Limited (GCA) has successfully concluded its July 2026 International Workshop on Innovative Community Development and Community Policing held in Walsall - Birmingham, United Kingdom, with participants returning safely to Nigeria after a five-day capacity-building programme.

The workshop, organised by GCA/C&M/CTP International Partnership initiative, took place from July 20 to July 24, 2026, bringing together participants from Delta State and other stakeholders for practical training on community development, community policing, and international best practices.

During the programme, the delegation embarked on educational tours of Walsall, Birmingham City Centres, Coventry, Liverpool, Glasgow in Scotland, and key locations in London, gaining firsthand experience in governance, urban development, and community safety initiatives.

The team arrived safely in Nigeria on board an Air Peace flight via Heathrow, landing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Monday, July 27, 2026.

In a statement issued at the end of the programme, the Chief Executive Officer of Gere Consulting Associates Limited, Gere Benson Bawo, expressed gratitude to God for the successful completion of the international engagement and commended participants for their discipline, cooperation, and exemplary conduct throughout the trip.

He also appreciated members of the delegation, including consultant Gere Bawo Benson, team leader Dr. Monday Agbeyi, John E. Ofofo, Comrade Daniel U. Akra, Mrs. Deborah I. Ukah, Hon. Cicilia Ekpo, and Tosan Agbeyi, for contributing to the success of the programme.

Reaffirming the firm's commitment to continuous improvement, Bawo encouraged participants to provide feedback that would enhance future international engagements while apologising for any inconvenience or shortcomings experienced during the trip.

Looking ahead, the GCA CEO announced an expanded schedule of international engagements, with future programmes planned for the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Rwanda, and China. He urged prospective participants to complete their registrations through the firm's Foreign Department to ensure seamless participation in upcoming global training and trade missions.

According to the CEO, the initiative is aimed at strengthening leadership capacity, promoting innovative community development strategies, and exposing participants to global best practices in governance, policing, and economic development.
