Is Governor Okowa not Wicked? Zik Spits Fire Over Commissioners Appointment
Niger Delta activist, Zik Gbemre speaking; "Is Governor Ifeanyi Okowa not Wicked and cruel? Okowa has appointed new commissioners but has no money to pay retirees who are dying of hunger and starvation after serving the state.
"The salaries, allowances, and fleet of vehicles for these four new commissioners appointed are enough to pay these retirees their gratuities and pensions.
"Okowa is damn wicked. These commissioners appointed are nothing but idle politicians that will be of great burden to Delta state. Of what relevance are they?
"Okowa is the most wicked and heartless governor of Delta state since 1999. Why should he waste Delta money to pay idle politicians whereas Delta retirees are not paid?
"Okowa's happiness is to see others lamenting. His joy is other people's suffering. A few days ago he was in Abuja for the inauguration of the CAN President and all of this is, to pretend that he is a man of God.
"A governor who goes to church to mock himself whereas retirees are living in abject poverty. Delta has never had it so bad as it currently experiences under Okowa".
