The statement reads, "We will only  support a candidate who can draw development to the rural community as we all desire.

"The political narrative must be change and we must consolidate on our dear party PDP to support a candidate with prudent style of leadership to address our concerns at the grassroot level. We totally against the grand plan by some self imposing individuals who are interested for bringing a candidate with no repute to rule us.

"It's unfortunate that, local government development is not feasible as expected and every dispensation wants to shy away from it, hence we don't want such to drag us back.

"It is a well known fact that, Burutu local government is the biggest local government in Nigeria but we are not seeing the desire result as expected and we should strive to do more as a people".
