Liberate Delta: Gbagi Awaits Justice at Tribunal, Judges Must be Faithful

Liberate Delta: Gbagi Awaits Justice at Tribunal, Judges Must be Faithful
By Ezekiel Kagbala
Delta State Governorship election petition Tribunal will proceed with  pre-hearing of Gbagi's petition
on the 1st of July 2023.
The main petitioner, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON of the Social Democratic Party, SDP has told Deltans that the swearing-in of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as governor will not change the much-needed Justice to liberate Delta State.
The entire team of Chief Kenneth Gbagi can authoritatively affirm that Gbagi believes in a peaceful, civilized, and legal process hence there was no record of violence, thuggery, or any form of mischief attached to his name. He has disclosed that he is hopeful of Justice on his petition before the Election Petitions Tribunal.
However, any clandestine move to influence the Tribunal for injustice will be resisted and challenged with decisive action as the matter before the Tribunal is substantive, factual, and justifiable, Tribunal Judges are advised to examine and Judge fairly.
Some parties in the petition have responded and agreed to Gbagi's position. Interestingly, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has agreed and accepted the same position.
As a law-abiding father figure of Delta State, Chief Gbagi will not resort to any illegal means, bribery, or harassment to reclaim his mandate.
Gbagi has further reaffirmed that; there are no loopholes to explore or bend as regards his Petition, the laws must be followed. Is either you are qualified or you are not. If Ten persons are in a race and nine are disqualified, the last runner is rightful to be declared the winner.
If Sheriff Oborevwori and his counterparts were not qualified to contest the 2023 gubernatorial election and as such, the Tribunal should uphold justice and nullify the election results declared by INEC.
Unfortunately, some shallow minds feel that Gbagi did not win any local government area from the results that were allegedly written and allocated to themselves and others.

The polling unit was the arena of electoral contest, the issues of electoral fraud in Delta State during the March 18 gubernatorial election must be addressed this time, the polling unit is no longer the arena.
The courts have displaced the polling units as the new arena for electoral contests. As it stands, the courts will determine the votes and qualifications of those who claimed to have gotten them.
As the saying goes, you cannot put something on nothing, all other parties who were not qualified, merely chested out to interfere with the process. Gbagi is rightful to be declared winner of the governorship election, Tribunal should do their jobs well.
