Oil theft war: Ijaw Women Veterans in N-Delta Pledge Support for Tompolo

A sociopolitical group in the South-South region, the Ijaw Women Veterans of the Niger Delta, has pledged the support of its members for the Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo, on his "sustained commitment to the ongoing war against crude oil theft, especially in the region".

According to the Ijaw Women Veterans of the Niger Delta, its members are solidly behind Tompolo in the struggle. This was contained in a letter despatched to Tompolo by the Ijaw Women Veterans of the Niger Delta group.
Copies of the letter which was signed jointly on behalf of the Ijaw Women Veterans group, by Chief Tina Ayakubo Tobusi, Amb. Rosebella Jackson, Amb. Tonbra Kasikoro Kilopirite, Amb. Ibiba Donpedro, Amb. Primrose Kpokposei, Dr. Lolo Fubara Sax Hailsham, and Amb. Elfreda Olungwe respectively, were made available to journalists in Warri on Saturday.

The letter partly reads, "We acknowledge your remarkable dedication to our people and the unwavering strength you bring to protecting the treasures of the Niger Delta.
"Your leadership with Tantita Security Services stands as a beacon of courage and action in securing the lifeblood of our economy.
"Through your tireless efforts, oil theft has been disrupted, and our region is steadily regaining its pride.
"The impact of your work resonates deeply with us, ensuring the livelihoods of many and restoring faith in the promise of a better future.
"We admire your focus and the clear results you’ve achieved, such as the notable increase in oil production.
"You have shown that real leadership means being unrelenting in the face of challenges and steadfast in delivering results that matter.
"Know that we are behind you. You are not just a leader to us; you are a brother, a protector, and a true champion of the Niger Delta. With unity and purpose, we will continue to walk this path together".
