Police Officer Dismissed for Allegedly Shooting Man to Death in Delta State 

The Delta State Police Command has announced the dismissal of the trigger-happy police inspector identified as Ebri Ubi who allegedly shot and killed Mr. Ibe, while on Stop and Search duty along Ugbolu-Illah Road in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.

The police spokesperson in the state, Bright Edafe, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday. April 18th, 2023.

According to him; "INSPR Ubi Ebri has been dismissed from the Nigeria Police force and will be charged to court tomorrow Wednesday 19th April 2023. The court will be determined tomorrow". 

It could be recalled that the inspector was arrested on the order of the State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Muhammed Ali.
