Tantita Security: Ijaw Youth Leader, Akiefa Writes Tinubu Over Tompolo's Surveillance Contract

Ijaw youth leader in Delta State, Comr. (Chief) Frank Akiefa of The Ijaw Youth Council has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), to expand the scope of the pipeline surveillance contract awarded to Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd (TSSNL).

He made the call in a statement issued to congratulate the management of TSSNL on the prestigious Vanguard Crude Oil Infrastructure Security Award, copies of which were made available to journalists in Warri, Delta State on Thursday.

The statement partly reads, "I congratulate the management of Tantita Security Services Limited (TSSNL) on the prestigious Vanguard Crude Oil Infrastructure Security Award. The award is a testament that the security outfit has done exceedingly well and has performed even beyond expectations. Niger Deltans are happy and proud of High Chief Government Ekpemukpolo (Tompolo).

"The Federal Government should properly fund Tantita Security to meet its growing staff base as they also partner the country's security apparatus to achieve sustainable results.

Tantita is strongly supporting the administration of President Bola Tinubu’s efforts in combating crude oil theft and restoring the country's economy.
"Tantita's achievements in the fight against crude theft is aimed at building the nation’s economy.
"Tompolo deserves commendation and encouragement as he pilots Tantita to do more in eradicating illegal crude oil bunkering activities that have negatively impacted the economy and the ecosystem over the years.

"The artisan local refinery operations 'kpofire' have found Tantita's intervention more beneficial and expanding the scope of the job will ensure more employment opportunities and discourage locals from vandalizing the country's economic resources.

"President Bola Tinubu will be printing his name in gold by reviewing upward and expanding the contract scope of Tantita Security Service Nigeria Limited for a robust and all-inclusive surveillance job. Thousands of Nigerians are currently being employed by Tantita security and this is also another opportunity for Job creation to empower Youths in the region.

"Nigeria’s economy which is largely dependent on oil revenues, was borrowing hopelessly amid plenty that was being stolen. The management of Tantita Security, under the coordination of Chief Engr Kestin Pondi, took a patriotic front at ensuring that the nation’s oil and gas pipelines are well-secured.

"To crown it all, the environment is now being remediated naturally and people in the area are now having the breath of clean fresh natural air with aquatic habitat now returning to the now calm waters".
