Tompolo Seeks Youths Support for President Tinubu
Niger Delta leader and founder of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has charged Nigerian youths to partner with President Bola Tinubu in his efforts to salvage the country from “socioeconomic saboteurs.”
Tompolo made the call at Oporoza, the traditional headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday while hosting executives of the Youth Wing of All Progressives Congress who had come to present him “awards of appreciation for protecting the nation’s crude oil assets and also for empowering youths in the Niger Delta region in particular and Nigeria in general.”
In the group’s entourage were executives of the National Youth Wing of the APC comprising National officers, the Zonal Officers, State Youth Leaders as well as officers at the Wards level.
The group used the opportunity to pledge their loyalty to Tompolo and presented awards of excellence to him.
The group also recognised Tompolo for not just empowering the youths in the Ijaw nation but Niger Delta and Nigeria as a whole.
The group said they had decided to present the awards to Tompolo for effectively protecting the nation’s crude oil assets “based on the services rendered through his organisation, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited to the nation by protecting crude oil against theft and vandalism.”
Tompolo, while thanking the group for the awards, urged Nigerian youths to “work with Mr. President, Bola Tinubu in salvaging the country.”
He said, “I thank all of you very much for leaving your various places and travelling to Oporoza here. It’s not an easy task. I believe you would have read in different newspapers that Tompolo is fighting illegal bunkering.
“Yes, crude oil is the only source of survival in this country and 90 per cent of our people, in one way or the other, are involved in illegal bunkering.
“So, I admonish our people, especially the youths wing to stand firm with Mr. President and join those who are doing the right thing to salvage our country.”
