Tompolo's Patriotic Mission: How Tantita Security Protects N-Delta Environment, Save Lives

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd. (TSSNL), a private oil pipeline security services firm, owned by the Niger Delta living legend, High Chief Government Ekemukpolo popularly known as Tompolo has sent illegal oil bunkering, theft and sea piracy away from the Niger Delta region.
The other phase is the total elimination of the unholy practices that degraded the environment.
Before now, the Federal Government loses over one billion dollars monthly to the activities of oil thieves in the Niger Delta region.
Also, the environmental impacts of illegal oil bunkering in the country reached an alarming level where even aquatic habitats could no longer survive.
It is heartwarming to note that Tantita's objective of safeguarding and protecting oil facilities has been noble, gainful commendable and progressive, taking into consideration that thousands of young persons who had once resorted to the negative form of infamy, blaming poverty and joblessness, now have different stories to tell.
It will be recalled that many persons in the region had died in the dangerous venture while some came out with all forms of deformity caused by fire burn and related fire accidents.
More destructive was the dangers illegal oil bunkering posed on the environment and with worst effect on people's health.
All forms of Cancer, lung infections, respiratory tract disorders and congenital abnormalities were almost taking lives each day.
Alas! Those who indulged in and those who did not, suffered from the negative consequences of environmental degradation!
Currently, activities of illegal oil bunkerers have been rendered comatose.
Those who were in the ugly trade have abandoned the destructive business to embrace the new deal of joining hands to remediate our environment, an approach that has been so effective, productive, and gainful.
It is important to support Tantita Security Services and accept the fact that illegal bunkering has caused majority of our people more harm than immediate ephemeral gain.
All thanks to the Niger Delta living legend, High Chief Tompolo for accepting to save the economy, the environment and peoples live. Beyond the contract, it is Tompolo's Patriotic Mission for the nation, a service to humanity, region and the Nigeria government currently under president Bola Tinubu.
Tantita Security Services has gainfully taken off over twenty-five thousand youths, men and women from the street, thereby drastically reducing the rate of crime and unemployment challenges bedeviling the Niger Delta region.
Oil thieves siphon off the main source of the Nigerian economy for private gain before taxation or crediting to the national account. Various experts have estimated the volume of oil theft at between 100,000 and 250,000 barrels per day or as much as 91 million barrels per year. This amounts to billions of dollars in lost revenue for the Nigerian treasury every year, regardless of the price of oil on any given day.
Individuals benefitting from the sale of stolen oil do not re-invest in oil exploration or production. While some of the revenues may be filtered down to inhabitants by way of pay-offs, the bulk of earnings are diverted outside the country into the international bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
The Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Kestin Pondi, an engineer per excellence, a visionary leader of no mean repute, he is highly commended for propelling this nobble project of protecting the Nation's wealth.
In view of the yeoman's job the Tantita Security Services is doing in revamping the environment in the Niger Delta region, it is high time for all and sundry to rise up in support of the patriotic mission.
