Ugbajo Itsekiri USA Elect First Female President at 27th Convention

Ugbajo Itsekiri USA Inc. has elected her first ever Female President, Dr. (Mrs.) Mejebi Toritseju Mayor(Née, Otubu) in the 27th year old history of the renown Itsekiri diaspora organization. 

The election was held on August 30, 2025 during its 27th Annual Convention in New York USA. 

In her acceptance speech, the newly elected President of Ugbajo Itsekiri USA Inc., Dr. Mejebi Toritseju Mayor appreciated members of the Organization for trusting in her capability to lead and pilot the affairs of Ugbajo Itsekiri USA in her two years tenure. 

Dr. Mayor appealed for members support even as She promised to put in her best to take Ugbajo Itsekiri USA to an enviable height along with other Executives and members of the Association.
