Amaseikumor Festival 2025 Day Four: Special Rites for Gbaraun Egbesu in Gbaramatu Kingdom

The Amaseikumor Festival 2025 continues to captivate attendees as it reaches its fourth day, marked by the powerful and sacred Gbaraun Egbesu rites.

The day four of the festival at Oporoza community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West council area of Delta State, is a showcase of the deep-rooted traditions and spiritual significance that the Gbaraun Egbesu embodies.

His Royal Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba, is the 26th Pere of the Gbaramatu Kingdom in Delta State, at day -four of the Amaseikumor festival 

The Gbaraun Egbesu rites, a cornerstone of the Amaseikumor Festival, symbolizing strength, protection and the preservation of cultural heritage.The Gbaraun Egbesu rites commenced with (Ogele) a procession of traditional dancers adorned in vibrant attire mainly white, their movements and procession invokes blessings for the community, participants and the entire Niger Delta region.
