Arthur Akpodubakaye Felicitates E.K. Clark On 97th Birthday
The immediate past vice chairman of Warri South-West Local Government area, Delta State has felicitated the foremost Ijaw National leader and elder statesman, Chief PA (Dr.) Edwin Clark, OFR. CON, on the occasion of his 97th birthday, wishing him peace, good health and more years ahead.
In his goodwill message made available to newsmen, on Friday, may 24th 2024, Akpodubakaye described Chief Edwin Clark as a great leader who is dependable and trustworthy.
Akpodubakaye added that Clark's advocacy for a better Nigeria and upliftment of the Ijaw nation and Niger Delta has placed him on a vintage position and reference point for national pride.
“I join your family, friends and other Nigerians to felicitate you on your 97th birthday and thank God for giving you a long and impactful life. I appreciate your voice on national issues, your advocacy has fostered uncommon development in every parts of the country.
"Words cannot not completely describe your legendary and unparalleled contributions to humanity. I pray God to grant you good health, happiness and most importantly more years with us".
Akpodubakaye further extolled Clark’s legendary contributions to the country as an illustrious leader, nationalist, a teacher, politician, Commissioner for Education, commissioner for Finance in the defunct Bendel State, Federal Commissioner (Minister) in Lagos, and Senator of the Federal Republic.
