Bishop Michael Okaro Celebrates 40 Years of Faithfulness with Soldiers of Christ Mission International

The founder of the Soldiers of Christ Mission International, Oleh in Isoko south local government area of Delta state, Bishop (DR) Michael Okaro has admonished his members for enduring the wilderness journey with him as they mark 40th anniversary of God's faithfulness.

The event which was grandly celebrated over the weekend at the Isoko Central School (ICS), Oleh playground with lined up activities, was highly attended by renowned ministers of God and guest artists among whom are, Archbishop Barr. Gimbright Adaigho, Apostle (Amb) Oki, Bishop Samuel Oyede, Evang Jesurabome Ede, Bishop Elect, Gabriel Oletu, Evang Emmanuel Ofano, Evang Moses Diamond and Evang Henry Oguh and others.

In an address presented during the ceremony, the Bishop noted that, the major purpose of the gathering is to testify of the goodness of the Lord before the world and to thanked Him for bringing them this far this far to witness this milestone in the Lord's vineyard.

 

According to him, his commitment to winning souls for Christ and establishing them in the perfect will of God so that, they will not only live a successful life on earth but also a glorious life beyond has activated his quest for massive evangelism to nooks and cranny of the world as well as discipleship.

"Though growth and expansion have not been easy due to financial constraints and other opposing forces that has been at work but our great and ever powerful God has consistently proved that, He is ever present with us".

He commended the invitees for their massive turn out at the epoch making event adding that, the Soldiers of Christ Mission which started in August1985 with just ten persons at Irri has increased immeasurably with other branches in various towns and communities, as he wished them journey miracles back to their homes respectively.

In an earlier exhortation titled "The Amazing power of praise" taken from the gospel of Mark chapter 14 verse 26, Archbishop Gimbright Adaigho noted the important of praise adding that, even before Jesus was crucified on the cross at Mount Olivet, He sang, signifying that, there is grace and power in song.

"Praise is one of the highest things you can offer to God and when it is comes from the depth of the heart, it causes transformation in absolutely every areas of man's life. The Bible says in Psalm 22 verse 3, that God dwells, resides and inhabits the praises of His people. Praise releases the presence of God that can shake the foundation of the earth, it is a powerful tool that resonates unusual breakthroughs".

He urged Christians to employ the weapon of praise while he offered thanks and gratitude to God for the Bishop and his family including the members of the church for their steadfastness resilience, commitment and loyalty in actualizing the Heaven's mandate this forty years.
