Fear of EFCC: Suspected Internet Fraudsters flee Warri, Goes Into Hiding

Reports reaching FocalPoint news desk revealed that youths popularly Known as 'Yahoo boys and Yahoo girls' has gone into hiding following racent raids of Suspected Internet Fraudsters by officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Warri and other parts of Delta State.
A young lady, age 21 who pleaded anonymity while speaking with FocalPoint Reports at Ughelli, disclosed that she was arrested some week ago in Warri along side her boyfriend who is an internet Fraudsters ('Yahoo boy').
The lady who gave his boyfriend's name as Ebi, disclosed that she was dating the young man because he pay her bills and he spend money on her. She could use an iPhone of 800,000 Naira even though her parents live in one room apartment close to Waterside.
According to her, "I know say na Yahoo boy I dey friend and I come from poor family and na him dey buy Iphone and other things for me. One day EFCC people jump enter the compound wey me with am day and arrest two of us with other boys too, before we see ourselves na Portharcourt.
"Them separate me go put for one side them beat me the type of beating wey I never receive for my life. Them even sit down press my guy money and them dey call thirty Million Naira to take release am oo.
The whole thing wan make me Kolo.
"Na one Ijaw man wey come bail him son na him I greet with Ijaw he com join me for the person wey he bail oooo, he spent 900k for me and him son wey he bail oo. EFCC I fear them ooo".
She also disclosed that EFCC have stepped up their operation of arresting Internet Fraudsters as may flee from Warri to other states and villages.
As the times of filing this Reports, it was gathered that young boys Suspected to be 'Yahoo boys' are lamenting that they cannot come out with their flashy cars any more for fear that they will be nabbed.
