Great Loss to Itsekiri nation as Kenneth Okoturo Buried Amidst Tears in Delta

Deltans especially the Itsekiri people were thrown into mourning on Saturday 20th, May 2023 as the popular Archivist COMRADE KENNETH OKOTURO was buried amidst tears at Misan Ukubeyinje Close, Ubeji in Warri, Delta State.
Before his death, Ken Okoturo was an astute Administrator, a dynamic University of Ibadan-trained Archivist, a Prolific Writer, a detribalized Labour Union Leader, and a renowned Humanist.
His family members, colleagues, Comrades Community, friends, and close associates of the late former State Trustee of the Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU) Delta State Chapter expressed grief when Late Kenneth Okoturo's remains were laid to rest in his place.
The wife (Mrs. Stella Okoturo) and children of the deceased, wept repeatedly as their late father and husband was lowered into the grave.
Speaking at the funeral Service, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, Comrade Michael Ikeogwu, said the deceased would forever remain in his heart, That the famous Delta born Archivist touched the lives of individuals that came around him in one way or the other.
“We are indeed grateful for his life. It is our fervent prayer that God should grant his dearly-beloved family and all of us the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss".
