Ijaw Youth Leader, Akiefa Congratulates Tare Godfrey Pondi on Chieftaincy Title in Gbaramatu Kingdom

A prominent Ijaw youth leader in the Niger Delta region, Chief (Comrade) Frank Akiefa has extended heartfelt congratulations to Tare Godfrey Pondi, the General Manager of Operations at Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, on his recent chieftaincy title conferment as the Ibe-Ebidouwei of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State.

In a statement personally signed by Akiefa, copies of which were made available to newsmen in Warri, he praised Godfrey Pondi as a "dependable leader" and a "man of vision and fairness." 

Akiefa stated that the chieftaincy title, on Tare Pondi was well deserved, highlighting his  commitment to the development and security of the Niger Delta region.

"Today, we celebrate a leader who has consistently demonstrated integrity and a deep sense of responsibility towards our people," Akiefa stated. "Tare Godfrey  Pondi's elevation to the esteemed position of Ibe-Ebidouwei is a testament to his hard work and the respect he has earned among the people of Gbaramatu and beyond."

Akiefa expressed confidence that Tare Pondi would use his new position to further promote peace and development in the region.

The chieftaincy title was conferred on Godfrey Pondi  during the 2025 Amaseikumor Festival in Oporoza, Gbaramatu Kingdom and was attended by dignitaries, including federal Ministers, Traditional rulers, National Assembly members, and well-wishers.
