Killing of Worshipers in Ondo State: A Call to end Insecurity as Nigeria Bleed Hopelessly

FocalPoint Exclusive By Ezekiel Kagbala

FocalPoint Reports as a media organization on the pedestal as a stakeholder of the Nigerian project could not retain silence in the face of multi-faceted insecurities that are currently assailing this nation, specifically the killing of worshipers in Ondo State.

It was a black sunday, infact sunday beyond tears as St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in Owo town, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State capital was attacked by some evil candidates of hell.

It was reported that Bombs were  exploded and bullets rained, over 50 worshippers laid dead. Call it amagidon, holocaust, genocide or massacre, the fact remains that terror rules the land as Nigeria experience an upsurge in violence and ruthless killing of defenceless innocent citizens.

Fear and uncertainty has griped millions of persons as hope of a better Nigeria sinks deep into the ocean of illusion that best characterise a hopeless Nation where Insecurity defines her identify.

President Muhammadu Buhari and some selfserving governors has made Nigeria a certified failed state.

It's more painful that; the ruling class Have detached themselves from patriotism and made Nigerians the victims of their misrule. The country under Buhari has become a killing field characterized by a complete breakdown of law and order.

Criminality has mutated rapidly into more deadly from of being pervasive and unchallenged by security and law-enforcement agencies that have long ceased to be relevant and effective.

Our country Nigeria Should not become a tourism center where people visit to see the cemeteries. If the government continue with condemning without actions to stop insecurity, people will be forced to see vengeance as power, strength and the best means to register their pains.
