The governor's aide, Chief Akiefa, in a statement he personally signed, copies of which were made available to newsmen on Friday in Warri, while reacting to the Governor's approval of over N275 billion for the execution of 76 projects spanning different sectors across the three senatorial districts of the state,

According to him; "The approval for the upward review of the Ayakoromo bridge project is a testament to Governor Oborevwori's commitment to improving the lives of our people. This bridge is not just a structure; it is a lifeline for the communities that rely on it for trade, education, and healthcare access," Akiefa stated.

The Bomadi-Gbaregolor road, which has suffered from years of neglect, is also set to receive much-needed attention. Akiefa noted that the rehabilitation of this road will enhance connectivity and promote economic growth in the area. "Good roads are essential for development. The rehabilitation of the Bomadi-Gbaregolor road will facilitate easier movement of goods and services, ultimately benefiting our farmers and traders," he added.

Furthermore, the allocation of N275 billion for 76 projects across the state has been hailed as a bold step towards comprehensive infrastructural development. Akiefa in a related development expressed optimism that the Governor will enhance security in the riverine communities and prioritize the safety and security of residents in these vulnerable areas.

He noted further that the people of Delta State remain optimistic that these developments will lead to improved living standards and economic advancement for all.
