Niger Delta Leader Tompolo Bags Honorary Doctorate Degree

The Nigeria Maritime University, NMU, Okerenkoko has conferred a Doctorate Degree on the frontlne Niger Delta leader, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, (alias) Tompolo for his positive contributions towards the growth and development of the University.

The award was conferred on Tompolo on Saturday, November 25th 2023, durring the institution’s maiden convocation ceremony at the school campus.Okerenkoko in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

Durring the convocation ceremony, the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was represented by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo decorated His Eminence, Alfred Papapreye Diete-Spiff, OFR, DF, Seriyal 11, the Amayanabo of Twon-Brass Kingdom who was installed as as Chancellor of the Nigeria Maritime University (NMU).

Among those who attended the colourful ceremony include; His Eminence, the Amanayabo of Twon-Brass, Alfred Papareye Diete-Spiff, Tompolo, and representatives of Ministers of Education, Delta State governor to mention but a few.
