Yuletide: SDP Chieftain Doles Out Rice, Cash Gifts to Leaders in Delta Community 

The candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Ughelli South Constituency of the Delta State House of Assembly in the 2023 general elections, Prince Temienor Oghenekevwe, has distributed rice and cash gifts to executives of Eyara Community in Ugheli South Local government area Delta State.

While distributing the items on Friday, during a visit of the community leaders to his country home, Temienor disclosed that the gesture is to enable his community leaders and kings-men to celebrate this year’s Christmas with ease and also strengthen the bond of unity with all in the community. 

While speaking on the need for unity he said; "There is a need for us to foster unity beyond politics, 
by creating time to bond together and attract development to Eyara community no matter our divide in the polity. 

"Regardless of our political beliefs, we, the people of Eyara community, must share our fundamental human experiences, such as love, loss, joy, and suffering." 

The community leaders appreciated Temienor, describing him as a man worthy of leadership and support from the community and its executives; while thanking him, they urged him to continue and contribute to the development of the community.

Those available during the distribution of the items include the President General of Eyara community, Mr. Gbogbo Tawarien, Adviser general, Emmanuel Joseph Ohwimu, The senior youth leader of (Oguwie) innocent Umukoro, Vice chairman of Eyara community, Alfred Vwamite, Auditor General, Pastor Victory Efeoghene, Ward chairman Effurun-Otor, Olomu wards there SDP, Harrison OKodaso, vice Youth Leader Oghoberuo Felis, David Mukoro, the Spokesperson of the community Fidelis Onojuvwevwo and the Secretary general of the community.

The president general of the community, Mr. Gbogbo Tawarien Said, "This invitation is the first of its kind; we will work together to move the Eyara community forward.

Your idealogy is different from that of other leaders. You are a community defender, we will continue to grow together with this gesture".
